What is Biological Ageing?
Chronological age (how old you are according to the calendar) and biological age (how old you are internally according to your gene health) are 2 very different things.
We now have ways of very accurately determining biological age by assessing the health of a DNA. This is done by a blood test which then provides incredibly useful information about how fast our cells are dividing, a true biological age, telomere length, how our body responds to fasting and the healthy of our immune system. The test involves a very simple blood draw and it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the results to come back. This provides fascinating information about our true internal health that can guide us in making appropriate lifestyle choices and seeking additional medical screening where required.
